Doug Casey’s Take: Doug is an Anarchist?

Doug Casey’s Take, Released on 1/29/23

When people think of an anarchist they think of a black-clad, bomb-thrower advocating chaos. But, in this episode, Doug Casey explains how the word anarchist has been corrupted like so much of the language. In fact, an anarchist has a lot more in common with a Taoist than a black-block member of Antifa.

Will these two guys ever get to the punch line about the reality of the public’s worshiping of govt rulers?? To the discerning individual it’s obvious yet these two constantly harp about the irrelevancies of how most citizens love & respect their rulers. They over analyze the subject and get bogged down with to many unimportant details. And yet they never seem to get to the most important reason why some people love their overlords, and what really motivates govt criminals to do what they do. More importantly this inability to clearly & simply discern this reality has led to a gross underestimation of the seriousness of the problem we face.

At the 10:30 mark Doug Jr. asks, “what do you think it is where humans seem to like having rulers?” Naturally Doug goes off with a litany of explanations for this and continues to miss the big issue.

The #1 reason why some people – in fact I believe most people – want big govt is simply because of greed, self interest, and laziness. They have a something-for-nothing mentality and a lust for easily obtainable wealth. And that friends, is the bottom line.

This may come off sounding a bit too critical of the show’s hosts. Perhaps. But I do appreciate their broaching the subject as the topic is usually too hot for most to bring up.
