“Russian Nuclear Sub & Navy Group Skim Florida, New Cuban Missile Crisis Feared”
Another alarmist headline?

This “flotilla” consists of four ships, two of which, I believe, aren’t even warships, but a tender and a tug. Anyone who has been paying attention knows for over a week that these ships were coming as the Russian government announced it weeks ago. No big surprise. U.S. “officials” have already stated that these ships pose no threat to the United States. I don’t always believe everything that “officials” tell us, but in this case I believe they’re correct. I seriously doubt that anyone, except maybe the guy behind the microphone, (who’s wearing a wool cap in the summertime?) actually believes that this is going to be Cuban Missile Crisis II.

And why is it that every commentator who criticizes the actions of the United States then seems to feel compelled to throw rocks at Putin and Russia, with no explanation given of why they feel that way?
