In this fireside chat, Roach and WuDunn discuss how these two nations’ relationship has changed over the past few decades including trade relations, positions on technology, geopolitical affairs, as well as the economic futures of the U.S. and China as they navigate sustained tensions.

Stephen S. Roach, former Chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia and the firm’s chief economist, is a senior fellow at Yale University’s Jackson Institute of Global Affairs and a senior lecturer at Yale’s School of Management. He the author, most recently, of Accidental Conflict: America, China, and the Clash of False Narratives.
