“Govt created something like 50k jobs”

Pete’s a brilliant guy, no doubt about it. But when he makes the above statement it makes my teeth hurt.

Peter, there’s no such thing as creating jobs! This fantasy notion is unadulterated nonsense and just one of many idiotic terms that were hijacked by the msm years ago. The term “Job creation” has been perverted, twisted & morphed into something it was never meant to be and has become completely meaningless today.

The govt can no more create jobs than humans can live without oxygen. Govt can & does ‘hire’ people, but I can assure you these are not ‘jobs’ that would be sustained in a free-market. So where did this curious notion come from and why do so many of us fall for this kind of bunk? Answer: mental laziness coupled with the easy way out solution most people seem to seek.

Neither government nor private industry “creates jobs”, they simply hire people in order to fulfill their desire for more labor. Employing people is simply a means to an end and a way of satisfying a demand for more labor. Jobs readily come into existence if there is demand for them by those who need them.

When are going to learn to stop using these Orwellian terms created by the lamestream media? We fall into the liberal’s snare every time we use them and unknowingly give them the home field advantage and a lever to use against us to obfuscate truth & reality. We need to stop using the statist’s own lingo which helps make their case. It’s bad enough to hear the constant B.S. emanating from the double-talking morons in the press, but to hear it coming from the likes of Peter is disappointing.

Finally, stating that someone “create jobs” is as preposterous as accusing them of “destroying jobs”.
