With all due respect to your computer Mr. Armstrong, the idea of separation is, as you would say, absurd! I believe that a number of states tried that back in the 1800’s and the only thing it accomplished was to kill about a half a million Americans. I doubt that the results would be any different today.

Furthermore, even in a ‘blue’ state like my home state of New York, registered Democrats represent only about half of the population statewide with the remainder split between Republicans (roughly 23%) with independents and various other parties making up the rest. If you subtract heavily Democrat New York City from the mix, New York State may be just about as ‘red’ as your beloved Florida. Other so called ‘blue’ states have similar demographics, many leaning even more heavily toward a 50/50 split. How is a physical separation of states supposed to occur under these circumstances? And, (just between you and me), I’ve talked to a lot of people here and guess what, most of us are not about to move to Tampa any time soon!

Please don’t forget, you’re at best only an election or two away from turning BLUE yourself. Sadly, I don’t know what the solution is, but ‘separation’……ain’t gonna happen in our lifetime or even in the decades that follow. It makes for good reading though!
