Speaking to ET NOW, Jim Rogers says India is the hottest market in the world. There are billions of dollars of unregulated lendings in China, he adds. Collapse of Chinese market is not the end of the world. China disruptions will provide bargain opportunities and if China slows down central bankers will continue the easy money policy, according to him. Printing of money is not good for the world, he believes. He is long on the dollar but expects some turmoil down the road. He will buy gold & silver if there are corrections, he says. Jim Rogers co-founded the Quantum Fund with George Soros in 1973, helping to steer the fund to a 4200% return before “retiring” at age 37. He is considered to be one of the greatest investors of all time. Rogers has made two record-setting journeys – once by motorcycle and once by car – and is in the Guinness Book of World Records for doing so.
