The house recently passed “SAVE ACT” new legislation requiring proof of citizenship for voter registration. Only 5 of 213 Democrats voted with the Republican Majority to pass the legislation. 10 Democrats abstained. Unfortunately, the probability is high that the Senate will vote to kill this important legislation, with the result that millions of illegal votes cast by non-citizens may well decide the presidential election. Illegal immigration has been my number one political issue for decades! I’ve donated to organizations that were dedicated to controlling illegal immigration, and yelled and screamed to warn friends, family and co-workers of this potential danger since the 1990’s and to no avail. No one seemed to be all that concerned.
