NEW YORK, February 22, 2023 — In the latest session of the ‘China Wise’ book series, Senior Fellow at the Paul Tsai China Center at Yale Law School Stephen Roach discusses his new book which analyzes the economies and political systems of the world’s two superpowers, the escalating tensions between them, and the urgent resolutions needed to avoid an accidental conflict. Asia Society’s Center on U.S.-China Relation’s Arthur Ross Director Orville Schell moderated the conversation.
Stephen S. Roach, former Chairman of Morgan Stanley Asia and the firm’s chief economist, is a senior fellow at Yale University’s Jackson Institute of Global Affairs and a senior lecturer at Yale’s School of Management. He the author, most recently, of Accidental Conflict: America, China, and the Clash of False Narratives.
