Ron Paul Liberty Report, Released on 7/6/20
The daily death count has morphed into the daily “new case” count, as 100,000 tests a day have exploded into 700,000 tests. Is it a wonder cases are increasing? But what they don’t dare mention is that deaths and even the death rate continue to decline. In fact the CDC warns that Covid is at the stage where it cannot even be classified an epidemic due to declining deaths. Still, more masks are required and petty dictators all around are calling for a return to lockdown. Can the truth ever be heard above all the lies?
Dr. Ron Paul is a physician and former twelve-term congressman from Texas who ran for president in 2008. He is the author of eight books, including the New York Times bestsellers The Revolution: A Manifesto and End The Fed. An unwavering defender of the US Constitution, Paul has been an advocate of sound money, personal liberty, free markets, and international peace throughout his political career and beyond. He is chairman of the FREE Foundation, founder of the Campaign for Liberty, and distinguished counselor to the Ludwig von Mises Institute. Dr. Paul recently started the Ron Paul Channel, an online broadcast alternative to the mainstream media. Ron’s most recent novel is Swords into Plowshares.
Ron Paul is bat-sh*t crazy. the outcome of a covid-19 infection is not binary, i.e., recovery or death. many people that get sick have lingering and debilitating symptoms, e.g., shortness of breath, brain fog etc. see, e.g., What We Know About the Long-Term Effects of COVID-19, https://www.healthline.com/health-news/what-we-know-about-the-long-term-effects-of-covid-19
also, this is what we know. What we don’t know is whether there are sub-clinical consequences that will affect one’s health months, years, etc. later. It seems likely since the virus attaches to the ace2 receptors that are ubiquitous, e.g., lungs, heart, liver et. this is not a disease anyone would want to get and people should be told the truth, not fairy tales by the likes of Dr. Paul.
I mostly agree with you on this Peter. Although the death rate seems to be decreasing (for now) there are other long-term issues like the ones you mentioned. Either way, this virus needs to be studied more before we get the “all clear.” We still don’t know how it affects children and if long-term immunity is possible, among other things. Chris Martenson has been the most accurate forecaster on this site thus far in my opinion. I still like to hear Ron Paul’s opinions, but that doesn’t mean I have to agree with them.
