And all of a sudden…the end began. President Trump holds a 90 minute phone call with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin, agreeing to soon hold a summit of the two leaders. Trump’s read-out of the call makes it clear that his pro-Ukraine “Special Envoy” Kellogg is out of the picture. Is peace on the horizon? What will it take? Also today, the mis-named National Endowment for Democracy is defunded.
