60 Minutes Australia, Released on 10/18/20
In a major exclusive involving 60 MINUTES, The Age, The Sydney Morning Herald and The New York Times, reporter Nick McKenzie reveals extraordinary details about a five-nation investigation targeting wealthy Australians accused of tax evasion. Code-named Operation Atlantis, its aim is to recover hundreds of millions of dollars stashed away in faraway banks.
This video stinks. The narrator admits that Peter Schiff is a big critic of cryptocurrency . . . gee do you think there might be a connection between that and Altcoin going after him? Schiff clearly stated he was unable to answer questions about a government probe . . . is that surprising? This was a hit job on Schiff. Do you think the governments who have actively suppressed precious metal prices for decades might want to go after a leading proponent of precious metals who happens to be highly successful?
I’m surprised to find the Daily Coin giving this air time.
sorry, meant “Market Sanity” lol, not Daily Coin . . . I go back and forth between these sites because they generally have a lot of good information
Peter Schiff is the most HONEST banker out there. This was a paid hit job/SHIT JOB on Peter Schiff. TYPICAL OF THE DEEP STATE ALWAYS GOING AFTER AN HONEST MEN.
Hmmmm interesting. I’m a big fan of Peter but of course it’s possible. It’s not a choice for banks to comply. The only thing is why isn’t 60 Minutes going after the big guys that have a series of CONVICTIONS; Such as Wells Fargo, BoA, JP Morgan…
I have been a fan of Peter’s for many years and his work has contributed greatly to Market Sanity. Market Sanity can’t confirm or deny the accusations against Peter and Euro Pacific Capital and I have no way of knowing if the accusations levied against Peter are true or not. A man should be innocent until proven guilty and I support that principle. Being a fan of Peter’s on a personal level, I hope he is innocent and I wish him all the best. Like Peter says in the second video, people get accused and investigated all the time but it doesn’t necessarily mean they are guilty.
The reason I shared the two videos is not because Market Sanity supports the accusations. Rather, I wanted you all to be aware that this story was taking place. The first video was the only one I could find last night that edited the 30 minute 60 Minutes piece into a shorter video, so I chose to share it. It doesn’t mean I agree with Alt Coin’s opinion. I agree the video is biased. I leave it up to you all to decide what to believe. I’ll try to post more information about this story as things unfold in the coming days and weeks.
Do people not realize that nearly all taxes collected go to the BIS as interest payments
on the Government debt. It does not stay in the
country. Who cares about the feeding of your countries taxes to global banksters.
Why would it be Peter’s job to police Australian tax evasion? Or is it just avoidance? Give me a break…pulp journalism. If Aussies are skipping tax that’s an Aussie problem. Nuff said.
Why did you put the big CORRUPT click bait text in red on the thumbnail if you’re a ‘fan’? No thanks, don’t need fans like you….
Alex, I did not notice that on the thumbnail. I could be mistaken but I don’t think the word “corrupt” was on the thumbnail when I first posted the video several days ago. I have deleted it. Accusing Peter of a crime was not my intent. My only intent was to share with all of you that this story was taking place. I have shared nearly every single Peter Schiff video available in the public domain for 7 years. The last thing I’m out to do is attack him. Innocent until proven guilty. I have also posted up Peter’s two response videos as well as a couple articles where Peter defended himself against the accusations.
Like I said up top, I shared that first video since it was the only video on YouTube at the time that had any content regarding the story.
Hatchet job. Peter Schiff is a god damn hero. Taxation is theft hope he is helping people avoid being stolen from. Sure it’s unfortunate if those people happen to be criminals but that is not his responsibility.
