Lobo Tiggre: Like it or Not, ESG is Here to Stay — How to Play This Paradigm Shift

Investing News, Released on 1/27/22 (Recorded on 1/18/22)

This interview was filmed on January 18, 2022.

Environmental, social and governance (ESG) factors aren’t new in mining, but according to Lobo Tiggre of IndependentSpeculator.com, there’s a paradigm shift going on.

He explained that said lip service is no longer enough, and mining companies actually need to make a real effort to enact ESG principles.

“Don’t panic, it’s not like all of a sudden the mining business is going to be impossible — but you really have to make sure you do these things. You have to not just talk the talk, you have to walk the walk,” said Tiggre. “You have to hire accordingly, you have to be sensitive. And if you don’t, it will cost you more in some cases.”
