Are they out of their minds?!? If the heads of world governments are worth anything, now is the time for them to stop this. What happens in the ocean affects us all and the creatures within it that, in turn, flip around to affect us for bad deeds such as this.
This isn’t the first I’ve heard about this … rumors of certain European countries putting tanks of radioactive wastes in the oceans … rusting. Who investigates this? This should be a number one priority — a good argument for not using nuclear … where do you/have you been storing all the toxic waste that hangs about for millions of years?
