David Stockman is a former Republican congressman from Michigan and was President Reagan’s budget director from 1981 to 1985. After leaving the White House, Stockman became a managing director at Salomon Brothers, and he later founded a private equity fund. David is the founder of David Stockman’s Contra Corner, and he is the author of The Great Deformation: The Corruption of Capitalism in America

Wow. Stockman, as usual, was terrific, but that this interview was on CNN and that they didn’t cut him off or quickly go to commercial when he was speaking the painful truth is astounding. Sure, he was negative on Trump, which CNN would love, but he also attacked the military/ industrial/security complex and the Fed and CNN actually aired it.
I was listening to this interview in the background while I was working earlier today. Suffice to say I was shocked when I looked up and noticed the interview was being done on CNN. Perhaps they’re finally learning?
