Bet-David is hoping a couple years delay will resurrect the cryptos. Seems to me Russia and the BRICS, which comprise the vast majority of the population, will force the Western – NATO club into a gold-anchored, commodities based currency just to survive.

Thanks, and I had not read the article. The Bitcoin-blockchain technology reminds me of the invention of the wheel. Yes, super useful but you must do something with it. Merely owning a duplicatable ‘wheel’ doesn’t take you too far down the road — it has to be attached to something more to derive value: (Bitcoin blockchain + Gold) is akin to (wheel + bicycle frame).
