The fundamental plank of democracy is the right to freedom of speech, as you mention. But Trump was a ‘victim’ of democracy entering the 2016 election, and he remained a ‘victim’ throughout his presidency and beyond.
But no doubt people will keep thinking they can vote their way out of this mess which is exactly what ‘democracy’ wants everyone to think.
At least the political theatre remains amusing.
And clearly Ms. Sanchez who thinks rights aren’t absolute is a full-on commie. She should move to Canada where its Constitution doesn’t even pretend to offer ‘rights’, as everything is “not withstanding”.
