“How can the stock market be up for any real reason? The reason it’s up is because the companies are buying back their own stocks – they’re the biggest purchasers of equities. Some of these companies are borrowing money from banks to buy their stocks, so their debt goes up, but not their investments to produce earnings to service the debt. I would think the stock market is vastly overvalued.”

“I think the weakest link is the dollar because it’s hard for them to rig the value of the dollar…I think the weak link is the dollar, and the policy of imposing sanctions tends to encourage people to get out of the dollar payment system…If that were to accelerate and start moving quicker, it would probably be more pressure on the dollar than they could support.”
